About Adobe Acrobat Reader
Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free software program developed by Adobe Systems, Inc. The program is used to view files in PDF format, which is a format that maintains the layout and design of the original document while greatly reducing the size of the file. Most performance tools are in a PDF format.
Navigation
The study guide functions like an electronic book that runs from within your web browser. In order to promote ease of use, the Study Guide maintains consistent page navigation throughout the module as described below; images of the Cranial Nerve Study Guide are pictured for demonstration purposes only, and actual module interfaces will vary.
The Start Page
The start page is a central location from which the user can access all of the resources of the module. The components of the start page are identified below.

Common Navigation Menu
The common navigation menu is located on most module pages and will allow the user quick access to commonly used resources. When using the Common Navigation Menu, it will be necessary to use the browser back button to return to your starting point. The components of the Common Navigation Menu are identified below.

Content Pages
With a few exceptions, all module pages will look very similar and will include the Common Navigation Menu. Additionally, section name, page forward and page back navigation, and page number identifiers (i.e., page 5 of 10) are located at the bottom of each content page. The components of a typical module content page are identified below.
