Biceps Brachii Tendon Localization and Essential Anatomy

With the patient positioned as pictured to the right, the biceps tendon can be easily palpated at the level of the cubital fossa (i.e., front of the elbow). If needed, the patient can sub-maximally contract the Biceps at the elbow to further localize the tendon. The tendon will look and feel like a thick and rounded cord.
