Adductor Tendon Localization and Essential Anatomy
With the patient positioned as pictured below, the adductor brevis and longus tendons can be palpated approximately 2 to 4 cm distal, and lateral to the pubis. The tendons are best localized with a sub-maximal contraction and will feel like small and rounded cords.
