Lesion: Localized pathological change in a bodily organ or tissue.

Load Response: The effect a load, such as gravity, has on a joint when compared to testing the joint in a gravity eliminated position (i.e., testing hip abductors in supine vs. sidelying).

Lower Motor Neuron Lesion (LMNL): A lesion of a lower motor neuron can cause decreased or absent reflexes, paralysis and weakness, sensory changes, atrophy, fasciculation and fibrillation, and a loss of vasomotor tone.
