Upper Motor Neuron Lesion (UMNL): A lesion of an upper motor neuron can cause increased reflexes, paralysis on the contralateral side of the lesion, weakness, changes in muscle tone, and the presence of a Babinski or Hoffman reflex. Vasomotor Tone: The regulation of the dilation or constriction of vessel walls. |
